TEC and Employee Recognized for Community Service
June 15, 2015
By day, Jose Oranday is a warehouseman at the Texas Electric Cooperatives warehouse in Dilley. He is also a volunteer firefighter with the Cotulla Volunteer and La Salle County fire departments who recently completed advanced training seminars that help him be the best firefighter and first responder possible.
In appreciation of TEC’s support of Oranday’s community service, La Salle County Fire Department Chief Don Smith recently presented TEC with a plaque that reads:
“I would like to thank you and your company for your outstanding support by allowing your employees to serve and give back to the communities as firefighters and first responders. Without them it would be a difficult task.”
