March 30, 2015

Texas Electric Cooperatives won the ACRE Special Achievement Award for enlisting the third-highest number of ACRE members in the nation and the most Century Club members in the nation in 2014.

ACRE is the Action Committee for Rural Electrification, a federal nonpartisan political action committee. Membership is $25, and Century Club members opt to contribute more to the fund.

Bartlett EC General Manager/CEO Bryan Lightfoot accepted the award for TEC from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s outgoing board president Curtis Nolan Feb. 25 during the NRECA Annual Meeting.
