TEC Takes Training to Co-op Country
October 1, 2013
TEC recently began offering instructor-led workshops at co-op locations. Through Co-Operative Regional Education, or C•O•R•E, TEC partners with host co-ops around the state to provide classes to cooperative employees at geographically convenient locations.
C•O•R•E evolved from feedback collected during member focus groups. TEC members said they wanted training delivered to co-op country.
Through the regional training, co-ops can offer classes exclusively to their own employees or open them to the staff of nearby cooperatives. Subject matter includes leadership, staff development, Microsoft Office Suite and co-op foundation training.
Several regional education sessions are slated for 2014. For more information, contact TEC Member Education Specialist Nichol Howell at (512) 486-6212 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
